Who you are contracting with
The journeys on this site are sold under The Kasbah Route brand by Okey Tours, the company that organises them and signs your contract. Its details are in the legal notice. In these terms, “we” means Okey Tours.
Booking and confirmation
Your inquiry commits neither you nor us. We reply with a written proposal: itinerary, dates, price, and what is and is not included.
The journey is booked once you have accepted that proposal in writing (an email or message is enough) and we have received the deposit. We then send you a written confirmation. Only what is stated in the proposal and the confirmation is binding.
Prices and payment
- A deposit of 30% of the total price confirms the booking, paid by bank transfer.
- You can pay the balance by transfer at the latest 14 days before departure, or in cash on arrival, whichever suits you. We agree which in writing when you book.
- Prices are stated in the currency of your proposal. A private journey is priced for your group, not per individual traveller.
- The price does not change after confirmation, unless you ask for a change or add travellers.

What is included, and what is not
Each proposal lists the nights, transport, meals, activities and entrance fees that are covered. Anything not listed is at your own cost, for example international flights, insurance, drinks, tips and personal spending.
Changing the journey
By you. Write to us as early as you can. We will do our best to adjust dates, route or group size, but we cannot guarantee it: it depends on our hosts’ and drivers’ availability. Any change is confirmed in writing before it applies and may change the price.
By us. A closed road, the weather, a site closure or an accommodation closing may force us to change part of the programme. We will offer an equivalent or better solution and explain why. If we cannot replace an essential service and you decline the alternative, you are refunded the part of the journey not delivered.
Your responsibilities
- hold a valid passport and any visa required: check Morocco’s entry rules for your nationality
- take out travel insurance covering cancellation, medical costs and repatriation, as we do not include it
- tell us in advance about any medical condition, allergy, dietary need or mobility limit that matters for the trip
- follow your guide’s and driver’s instructions, and respect the law, the places and the people you meet
Health, safety and activities
Some days carry real risk: mountain trekking, altitude, camel rides, piste driving, a night in the desert. Your guide may change a route, shorten a day or call it off if weather, track conditions or your fitness call for it. That decision is made for your safety and does not entitle you to a refund.
Events beyond our control
We are not liable for a failure caused by an unforeseeable event outside our control: snow or flooding that closes a road, a sandstorm, a natural disaster, a strike, an official decision, an epidemic, or closed borders or airspace. We will then work with you on the best solution: a postponement, an adapted route or a credit. Refund rules are set out in the cancellation policy.
Liability
We organise your journey with care and we are responsible for the proper delivery of the services we sold. Some services are provided by third parties (guesthouses, partner drivers, activity operators) whom we choose carefully; they remain responsible for their own services.
We are not liable for damage caused by your own behaviour, by ignoring safety instructions, for lost or stolen belongings, or for indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Photographs
We like to show real people on this site. We never publish a photograph or video in which you can be recognised without your prior agreement, and you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us.
Complaints
If something is wrong during the journey, tell your guide or us straight away: we can usually put it right on the spot. For a complaint after the journey, write to us within 30 days of your return at the address in the legal notice. We reply within 30 days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. If we cannot settle a dispute amicably, the competent Moroccan courts have jurisdiction. If you live in the European Union, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply.
Changes
These terms may change. The ones that apply to your journey are those in force when you receive your written confirmation.
